Senior Innovation & Execution Lead

WTS builds survivability (Camouflage, Concealment and Deception, (CCD)) solutions that cost a fraction of the assets they protect. This role turns concepts and proposal estimates into executable engineering and production plans, leads cross-functional work to deliver prototype and low-rate production hardware. Investigates the use of AI to compress design, engineering, and production workflows.
What you'll do

Own execution from proposal estimate/customer requirements through design release, production, and quality — schedule, cost, and delivery.

Lead a cross-functional team across engineering, production, quality, analytics, and subcontractors.

Turn deception concepts into manufacturable designs; run rapid build-test-learn prototyping and CAD-to-production handoffs.

Manage design changes during production; partner directly with program managers and DoD customers.

Build the systems that keep work moving — change control, capacity planning, quality escalation, ERP, subcontractor integration.

Apply AI tools to optimize workflows — accelerating design and engineering, generative/parametric CAD, documentation, planning, and analytics.

Scale from prototype to production run through WTS's regional manufacturing network.

What you need
​

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or related).

3+ years leading DoD prototype / low-rate production, owning schedule and delivery.

Cross-functional leadership across engineering, production, and suppliers.

3D CAD and rapid prototyping — SolidWorks (CSWP preferred), Rhino a plus.

ERP / change control / BOM experience (e.g., SAP, EPDM); data analysis for planning decisions.

Fluency with AI tools to speed design, engineering, and production workflows.

Active SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship.
